Food....Movie....

On Monday, hubby and I had dinner in Thaipan. The food in Thaipan tastes good but the service is really bad. I don't think I will want to eat there again. No matter how good the food is, the service really turns me off!

I like their butter squid. The presentation may not be look good but it tastes really awesome!

 The double-boiled soup is not fantastic.


Today, hubby and I went to watch Thor at Shaw Premiere. Hubby told me that he had been waiting for this movie for a year! Haha....it is a worthwhile wait because the movie is really good! I like this Thor movie more than Iron Man 2. :)

We ate at Wendy's after the movie. I had my fav shrimp burger! :)

This week has been really great so far! There was no school on Wednesday. The off day came very timely as it gave me time to clear loads of housework and marking! Thank God for the off day!

Siblings' outing

I like spending time with my siblings! Even after I got married, I still make it a point to meet up with them once in a while to have a meal together. 

This time round, we decided to have a meal in the Ship Restaurant. The Ship Restaurant has been operating in a secluded corner in Shaw Towers, Orchard. Though this restaurant is located in a secluded corner, it is still very crowded on a Sunday afternoon. We did not make any prior reservations so we had to wait for quite some time before we were given a table. 

The Ship Restaurant serves really good steak. I ate in this restaurant when I was still a primary school student. I remember that I ate steak that time. :)

This time round, my brother and I had the lobster special (with grilled rib eye steak). My sister had the lobster special (with chicken chop).

 The restaurant printed its name on the plates...:)

Besides the lobster sets that we ordered, we also ordered the escargots! It is the best I have ever eaten! A must try!!

After the meal in the Ship restaurant, we had drinks in TCC (international plaza). It was a long chit chat session. :)

Somehow, now that I don't see them often, I treasure the times we have together....

Good Friday

I intend to update this blog everyday.

Today is Good Friday. I went to church for service. The preacher was Revd Timothy Chow. I always enjoy listening to his sermon. It is so good to be reminded on how we Christians need to lead a life that is pleasing to God.

After church, I came home and went out again in the late afternoon.

Our first stop was the Nespresso outlet in Ion Orchard. I needed to get my hubby his birthday pressie!

We had our dinner in NYDC (Wheelock). NYDC has always been my fav restaurant since my uni days! I love their baked rice and pizza!

I bought him the limited edition onirio capsules!

I have to eat this mushroom madness whenever I go to NYDC.

 So mushroomy! :P

Lion King Musical

Yesterday, I brought hubby to Marina Bay Sands for a meal at TWG. I had also bought tickets to the Lion King Musical.
